How to Edit System Emails

Learn how to edit the default system emails.

  1. From your Mentorship Dashboard, navigate to the Emails tab.
  2. When the dropdown appears, select from Email Text, Scheduled Emails, or Mentorship Emails.
  3. Under Email Text, view all standard system emails sent from your platform.
  4. Use the Custom tab to add your own program-specific emails (covered in another video).
  5. In the Standard tab, review each email’s target audience, internal name, and subject line.
  6. Click the pencil icon beside any email to edit it.
  7. Make desired changes—such as adding a salutation (e.g., “Program Admin Team”)—and click Save.
  8. To view all automated system-triggered emails, open the Mentorship Emails tab.
  9. Select an email (e.g., Request Connection Email) to see its content and subject line.
  10. You may edit these emails as needed, but keep variable data intact (contact support if unsure).
  11. Review all emails to identify which are relevant to your program—for example, skip “Request to Join Circle” if you don’t offer group mentorship.
