Web Analytics Dashboard

Google Analytics Integration

The Web Analytics Dashboard gives you a clear view of how visitors, applicants, and reviewers are using your RQ Platform instance. By default, the dashboard shows the last 30 days, but you can use the date selector to change the period to the last 7, 30, or 60 days, or choose a custom range.

Many metrics also display a percentage increase or decrease compared to the same previous period. For example, when looking at the last 30 days, the percentage compares it against the prior 30 days.

Date Selector

The date selector controls the time period for all charts. Choose from preset ranges (7, 30, or 60 days) or select a custom date range. The default is 30 days.

Realtime Users

This widget shows how many people are currently active on your platform at that exact moment. It’s especially useful when you want to monitor traffic right after sending a reminder email or any advertising you might be running to promote your program.

Active Users

Active users are the unique people who visited your system during the selected time period. This metric helps you understand your overall reach.

New Users

New users are first-time visitors within the selected time period. Tracking new users helps you see whether your outreach is bringing in fresh audiences.

Sessions

A session represents one visit to your platform. If someone visits your site multiple times, each visit counts as a separate session.  The percentage change tells you whether total visits are trending up or down.

Average Time Spent per Visit

This shows how long, on average, visitors spend on your site during a session. Longer times suggest people are engaged, while shorter times may indicate they are quickly finding (or not finding) what they need.

Audience Overview - Active Users by Country Map

This map shows where your visitors are located globally. It helps you identify whether your system is reaching international audiences and where your strongest engagement is coming from.

Active Users by Region Bar Chart

This bar chart breaks down visitors by region (state / province). It’s especially helpful if your program targets certain regions, allowing you to see where engagement is strong and where additional promotion may be needed.

Device Categories Donut Chart

This chart shows whether visitors are using desktop, mobile, or tablet devices. If you see that most users are on mobile, you’ll want to ensure your forms and content are easy to use on smaller screens.

Channels Sending Visitors to Your System Donut Chart

This chart shows the sources of your traffic:

  • Organic Search – people who found you via search engines like Google and Bing.
  • Social – visitors from social media platforms such as LinkedIn or Facebook.
  • Direct – people who typed your URL directly or used a bookmark.
  • Referral – visitors who clicked from another website.

This breakdown helps you see which channels drive the most traffic and where to focus your marketing outreach efforts.

Traffic Distribution by Campaign (Donut Chart)

If you’ve tagged emails or ad campaigns, for example,  this chart shows how many users clicked on your email and came to the system, or what ad campaigns brought in the most visitors. Use it to compare campaign effectiveness.

Average Time Spent by Submitters

This metric shows the average amount of time applicants spend completing forms. Shorter times may mean simple or quick applications, while longer times could suggest detailed requirements or areas where applicants may need more guidance.

Average Time Spent by Reviewers

This metric shows the average time reviewers spend evaluating submissions. Shorter times may indicate efficiency, while longer times could mean thorough reviews — or possibly that the review process is too complex and could be streamlined.

Putting It All Together

Together, these widgets provide a complete picture of visitor activity, marketing performance, and program engagement. Use the dashboard to track campaign results, understand how applicants and reviewers interact with your platform, and make informed decisions to improve user experience.
