Workflow Action: Remove from Review Groups

Use the Remove from Review Groups action to automatically remove matching submissions from one or more review groups when the workflow runs.

Setting up the action

Under Then (required), select Remove from Review Groups, then configure the following:

Which groups to remove submissions from

Under Select review groups, choose the review groups matching submissions should be removed from. Any groups you don't select will remain assigned to the submission.

What happens to scores

Choose what should happen to reviewer scores and comments when a submission is removed from a group:

• Remove group, keep scores — removes the submission from the selected groups but keeps any scores and comments already provided by reviewers.
• Remove group, remove scores — removes the submission from the selected groups and deletes scores and comments from reviewers who lose access through those groups. Scores from reviewers who still have access through another group are not affected.

Choose Remove group, remove scores carefully — this permanently deletes reviewer input for reviewers who no longer have access to the submission through any remaining group.
