Filtering Suggested Matches by Status
If your program has a lot of participants, it helps to narrow the list down to exactly who you're trying to place. Both the Matching Center and the Suggested Matches list let you filter by status.
Filtering on the Matching Dashboard
- Go to Admin Tools > Matching Dashboard.
- Use the Mentee / Mentor tabs to choose which side of the pairing you want to focus on.
- Below the tabs, choose one of three filters:
- Unmatched: people who don't have any active matches yet
- Open Capacity: people who have at least one match already, but can take on more
- At Capacity: people who've reached their maximum number of matches
Filtering inside Suggested Matches
The same filtering is available inside the Suggested Matches list:
- Open Suggested Matches from the Matching Dashboard.
- Use the dropdown in the top-right of the window (labeled Mentors or Mentees, depending on which tab you're on) to switch between Unmatched, Open Capacity, and At Capacity.
- The list updates to only show suggested pairs involving people in that status.
Searching directly
If you know who you're looking for, use the Search field in the toolbar at the top of the Matching Dashboard to jump straight to a specific mentor or mentee instead of filtering by status.
Why this is useful
- Use Unmatched to focus on participants who haven't been paired with anyone yet, usually the first thing to clear at the start of a program.
- Use Open Capacity to find mentors who could take on an additional mentee mid-program.
- Use At Capacity to check who's already fully booked before assigning anyone new to them.
